Collector Schedule
A new version of MaxQuake incorporating the 2009 IBC and 2010 CBC requirements is available as of January 3, 2010.

Speed: MaxQuake enables you to quickly evaluate Wind and Earthquake loads, and accurately determine the constuction requirements for a safe building design.

Compare Designs: MaxQuake allows easy evaluation and comparison of preliminary plan configuations for new buildings and different building sytems. You can quickly test separate shear walls and pre-manufactured unit frames or use the wall pier method or wall percentage method configurations to determine the most efficient shear wall system for your project.

Automatic Reference: MaxQuake looks up, from built-in libraries, the shear capacities of many typical shear wall materials; Simpson Wall, Hardy Frame, Trus Joist Wall and Z-Wall pre-manufactured unit frames. MaxQuake also looks up sizes, types and capacities for framing hardware including "Simpson" hold-downs, straps and anchors. All these libraries can be customized and saved, or new libraries added.

Documentation: In a user-friendly interface, MaxQuake is organized in logical steps so that all formulas, code references, and the results of each stage of the calculations are displayed together on separate tabbed pages. This information can be printed just as it is seen on the screen to provide a complete calculations and schedules in a simple twelve page document, ready to submit for a building permit.
