Archforms, Ltd. is now shipping the new 2010 version
of MaxQuake/ MaxWind for the 2009 IBC and 2010 CBC. MaxQuake/MaxWind has
been completely revised to comply with the new calculation requirements of the
2009 IBC (International Building Code) and 2010 CBC (California Building Code)
base on the 2005 version of ASCE7. MaxQuake/MaxWind has
been expanded to provide compete documentation of the derivation of all calculations.
The program has been reorganized, and several major new features and numerous
subtle improvements have been added at your request. Despite the more complicated
Code requirements, added features, and other revisions MaxQuake/MaxWind looks
and feels very much the same as the previous versions, but is more complete and
intelligent, making entry of and manipulation of input even easier to achieve
the best design result, and providing complete documentation ready to submit
along with your drawings for a building permit.
